Making college dreams a reality involves more than submitting an application. Students and parents must also figure out how they will pay for college once the child has been accepted into their school. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the form that students must complete in order to find out if they qualify for any aid – be that grants, loans or scholarships. The form was made available to students online beginning October 1.
To make sure that students and parents have the help they need in completing this form, College Foundation of North Carolina (CFNC) is hosting FAFSA Day on October 29. FAFSA Day is a chance for people to receive in-person help.
